A dialogue between representatives of civil society organizations from across Africa and renowned reproductive health expert Prof. Fred Sai on the major progress and challenges in addressing global population issues since the landmark International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD), held in Cairo in 1994. 

The same topic will be highlighted during the 47th Session of the Commission on Population and Development, to be held at UN Headquarters from 7 to 11 April. During the session, various UN agencies and civil society organizations will gather to assess the status of implementation of the Programme of Action of ICPD.
