Launch of State of the World Population Report

Location: Tang Palace Hotel, Accra.
Description: Launch of UNFPA’s State of World Population 2015, “Shelter from the Storm: A Transformative Agenda for Women and Girls in a Crisis-Prone World.” UNFPA on annual basis prepares a report on the State of the World Population. This year the theme is on humanitarian situations and Panelists have been identified for the media to engage them on humanitarian preparedness in Ghana.

UNFPA, UNICEF,WFP, IOM and UNHCR Representatives will throw more light on the issues at stake while NADMO responds to Ghana specific issues. Care International, Redcross Ghana and World Vision International will take it up from the perspective of NGOs in Ghana at a media engagement.

The UN Resident Coordinator, Ms Christine Evans- Klock is the guest for the occasion.
