Significantly constrained by the COVID-19 pandemic, the second cohort of UNFPA Ghana's Youth Leaders Fellows rose to the challenge of working in an emergency period with a strong commitment to promoting the three transformative results of: zero preventable maternal deaths, zero unmet need for family planning and zero sexual and gender-based violence in various communities. Coupled with guidance from senior staff, a spirit of initiative and sheer zeal, the Fellows managed to help the UNFPA Ghana Country Office achieve results amid the pandemic, while emerging heroes and as good examples of resilience amongst young people.
